Biggest Multiple Connection: Disney's
"Hercules". ednet transmitted 6 channels of Dolby audio plus machine
control (to synchronize the projectors to the incoming audio) so that Skywalker Sound could
play the surround mix from Lucas' Ranch facilty to two remote theaters. Both Disney in Burbank and the Disney executives in the NYC screening facility could "listen" to the mixdown
live while watching the picture. In our San Francisco HQ innumerable custom data cables were engineered for this
project, and our fingers were sore from all the button pushes, but the sessions went off without a hitch. Herculean effort!
Largest Simultaneous, Multiple-location bridge: three for The Artists.
DOME Studio in Toronto, EMI... for The Artists in New York and Studio
Babelsberg in Germany where all connected through the ednet hub in San
Francisco to record the album Emancipation. |
