C1140™ NEW!
The C1140/41 models are designed specifically for ISDN and IP. As an ISDN codec with IP Control for management or as a codec for both ISDN and IP. The ISDN stack is based on MAYAH's long experience in this field, with many d-channel protocols and international connectivity. IP support is the same as other C11 models. They can connect to portable devices such as Sporty and Flashman II as well as other, third party vendors and can talk to RTP and SIP; the basic technology for corporate and public networks.
The C1140 and the C1141 are bi-directional codecs, able to encode and decode simultaneously.

When did ednet start to represent Mayah products?
In mid 2009, ednet began to evaluate the Mayah product line, and now has added three Mayah products to its catalog.
What audio compression standards does Mayah support in their encoders and decoders?
MPEG Layer II compression (the most widely used standard around the world) in addition to a number of other ISO standard codecs (G.722 for example), as well as the new AAC, sometimes called MPEG-4. Optionally, APTx can be added as an option on some products.
Are Mayah equipped studios compatible with other MPEG-equipped studios who employ codecs from other manufacturers?
Yes. Audio codecs such as the Telos and Musicam Prima series are totally compatible with these Mayah products. Furthermore with the addition of the optional APTx codec, the Mayah can connect to the hundreds of APT equipped studios as well.
